Senior Week: Fancy Feast

Give me a break, give me a break. Break me off a piece of that Fancy Feast. Fancy Feast, nailed it.
(This shout out is for you Games, I will never forget your pad of post-its in our room)

Our last night of Senior Week was a fancy one, not much of a feast (unless you include burger sliders and chicken nuggets) but I assume you are picking up what I am putting down...

Here's some images from our night on the Georgetown Waterfront.

Senior Week: CA$INO

Cranking out these Senior Week posts (because I am so far behind...). Casino Night was a thing that was a thing. We were late (completely my fault) and I played zero casino games, but socializing was good and fun.

And while everyone else mingled and played games, Shan and Ry (naturally) decided that it was a shame to let the tiniest dance floor the world has ever seen go to waste. And so they danced. And they laughed. And had a really really you get where I am going.

Found Lauren and caught up on life while awkwardly interrupting a few games of Black Jack.

Then we snagged some really flattering pictures. You're welcome.

Ended the night with everyones favorite ice cream which will always and forever be Coffee Heath Bar Crunch to us. Thrilling end of the night, we know, and we like it that way.

Senior Week: Friends and Fans

If you've been around for awhile, or if you have stalked all in one sitting (looking at you Angela) you know that at the very beginning of this blog, Ryan and I went to a baseball game. If you remember we were big fans of the hot dogs, fans of the sport, and fans of the beer, but not fans of the prices.

Fast forward almost a year, and Ryan and I go to a baseball game when all those things are still true, but this time we are also fans of the team, so hoozah for that! And by fans of the team I mean that Ryan was born there so he likes to rep the apparel and my dad and brothers are die hard fans so do I watch baseball religiously? No. Can I name more than two players on the team? No. But do I know who to cheer for? You betcha.

So Baltimore, thanks for having us. We love Americas Pastime too.

Naturally, I took a picture of Ryan with his gear and sent it to my dad to assure that I had made the right kind of friends in college.

When there is a rain delay, you are more than happy to be in the upper deck under an awning. And by the end of the night you would have never even known it rained at all.

STB brought up a good question. That initially one might laugh at, but don't worry Shan, I'm with you that it is not that crazy of a curiosity. If we had the field covered during the rain, why are we now watering the dirt? ;)

Now lets chat about the hot dogs. I love hot dogs, my favorite food. Now, there are some hot dogs that are better than others, but on a large scale I don't discriminate. All hot dogs are good by their nature. Because God said they were good. Now then, when would hot dogs be bad? Well, obviously when they forget who they were created to be and go against their nature. This is when bad enters. Bad hot dogs can only be from a lack of being, no hot dog can be created with evil within, only from a lack of creation. So, I say to you, I was served an objectively bad hot dog at Camden Yards, by the nature of it not being hot.

Now that I have weirded out anyone who ever stumbles upon this blog with my hot dog obsession mixing with Theology in a potential idolatry type of way, I'll close out with one more picture. Great day.

Senior Week: Festivities

The week has come and gone. And well now it must be blogged.

Lets 's start us off with Shannon and my last trip to Regan. We found a San Ans MegaMarg glass in the trash; we were excited and confused because well:
1. How on earth did you steal a margarita glass that big?!?! You must carry a large bag?
2. After going through all the effort to steal this, why did you simply abandon it in a lonely trash can?
3. And of course, you sneaky mom. I know none of you ladies are 21.......
Now before you judge us for pulling this out of the trash can, it was on the very tippy-top and resting on paper. And the proud new owner of this glass is not judging so how's that for consolation?

Moving right along, here we have the people you will see most frequently in the senior week posts. Get used to their names and faces and try (and fail) to grow to love them even half as much as I do.

This was our, unbeknown (weird word, proud that I used it, don't think I used it right) to us, last trip to Times. And, fittingly, it was Police Week. That's all about that.

Dave & Busters

Dirty Martinis are for adults. Which I am told that we are now that we have graduated. Except for not. Because dirty martinis are nasty and to quote a Shannon, "It tastes like pedialyte and looks like urine, thanks Ryan." He will never ever live this story down.

When we got to D&B, I told Shan and Ry that this was my favorite game. It was most fun, simple, addictive, least active, and effective for winning tickets. They made fun of me, of course, for choosing the most boring game there. But by the end of the night, how did we win our prizes? and How did we spend our points? You're welcome Seth.

Now, I bet you are wondering what we did with all of those tickets we won at the boring coin game. Good because I am dying to tell you! With over 4,000 points to spend together we immediately picked up some tumblers for drinks for the week. Now we still had 3,000 left and a certain someone insisted that we get the Hello Kitty stuffed animal/doll. So we required that he carry it for the ride home. We got back from the bathroom to see that this wasn't as much of a burden or punishment as we had anticipated.
(sorry for the blurr but the memory had to be captured)

So Shan decided to join them on the ride to make a threesome. Hello Kitty is a very loved girl around these parts.

Stick Around for many more Senior Week posts.

Bridal Shannonigans

Bridal Showers in college dorm rooms: My Life.

But hilarity aside, I am so appreciative for these people. They are the most wonderful women, and I was so shocked by this. I love you and I am so grateful that CUA let me get to know you.

And bridal showers aren't complete without ridiculous games right? And TP is free in college dorms soooooo...

Beautiful brides! And they know me so well, bows and straps!

Thanks ladies, I just can't stop professing my love you y'all.

Thanks Shan for being such a wonderful friend and bridesmaid!

LUAUPALOOZA

Four Luau's later and well, it happened. There was so much leading up to this day and I can't really formulate a cohesive thought about it now that it's over. Or maybe ever. So prepare yourself for a virtually mute Rylee, heavy on the image documentation.

Someone tell Joe that when he takes selfies with Red, they get featured.

MK&A take on the Big Red Chair

And so much gratitude for these ones. The ones who made the day possible. And the ones who planned the day from the beginning. From October. From last March. These people have been my people. And emotion. And feelings. But as I said, not formulated so you get what you get.
