A niece!

It shows how behind I am with blogging as November is in two days but I'm still posting pictures of Gemma with sleeveless dresses... Moving forward--> Over the summer, Tim and I became Uncle Tim and Aunt Rylee for the very first time! Our sweet niece was born and she really is the sweetest girl. A few months later and we found ourselves in Chicago as Tim is her godfather and we got to celebrate her first Sacrament! We were lucky enough to see the majority of the Kenney fam and tie in a side trip to South Bend. Anyway it was lovely except for Gemma's jealous behavior... the little stink! I don't have many photos but the occasion itself warranted a post!

Baby's First Gameday

Boy have I got a photo dump for you! We were so lucky to make it out to Notre Dame for two gamedays this season (of all seasons!) and you can tell how far behind I am at this whole blogging thing because I haven't shared the first one yet. We hope to bring Gemma up to love this city as much as we do, off to a good start:
Tim: "Hang on. I've been waiting my whole life to do this."
First the wardrobe, next the fight song. We are working on it and Uncle Michael helped teach her "we're number 1!"

LDW: Sister Edition

What joy to have sisters who will travel hours by themselves just to spend a weekend chatting with you, squeezing your baby, and celebrating your husbands birthday. Happy birthday Timothy!

A photo dump for your viewing pleasure... you can see more at our sister blog.

Back to a Blog Beginning

Way back when I lived in DC for a summer and Ryan encouraged me to start this blog. Toward the start of the school year I finally got up the courage to do it and posted about a Sunday in the city doing classic bloggy things. Now, Ryan visits from NYC and of course he knows the trip to Union Market will be on the blog... do you think he's mocking me?
It's so good to have Ryan back on the East Coast where visiting is so much more frequent giving us many reasons to explore NE DC again and again.
