In which I ramble and post no photos...

Sorry friends, I've got nothing for ya. Except a lot of me talking about a lot of nothing.

Yesterday was a rough day for me, but it infinitely improved because of my Renew group. These ladies can make me laugh harder than anything and anyone. I highly recommend that if you ever need a pick-me-up you join us for dinner on Thursday nights when we talk too much and eat even more. But seriously, shout out to the two who came last night, you don't even know how much I needed that joy in my life. Possibly my high for next week?

Then my other friends took me to Wawa. This is like yes. I cannot even begin to tell you how great of an experience it is to drive to Maryland's finest Gas Station/ Convenience Store/ Extravagant, life-loving, Gods gift to humanity and America kind of place. You don't need to buy anything in order to make a Wawa trip a good time, you just need companionship. or even not. I guess what I am trying to say is I love you guys and I am looking forward to many more wawa runs before graduation, you mean the world to me and Wawa hoagies don't hurt. #grapesnackpack

I am trying to get a blog post out of Tim on the engagement, he says he is working on it but I haven't seen anything yet so I'll let you know when I know. Keep those fingers crossed. In the meantime he is posting posts of his own... Tim's a brilliant theologian and his posts are much much less heretical than mine... (Proof I'm a pagan?). In his post you will find C.S. Lewis, better grammar than mine, complete sentences, complete thoughts, Theological reflection, and Jesus walking on water. They say opposites attract, check his blog to see if it's real. ((http://chestertonianlewis.blogspot.com/))

Wedding plans are coming along. It's going to be a joyous 8/9/2014. Tim tries to play it up that he doesn't care and he is happy with whatever I chose, but it's all lies. He is the most opinionated person in the world. Just because he doesn't tell me explicitly what he wants doesn't mean I can't tell. His phrase of the moment, "Rylee, are you sure you want that?" ... Thanks.

So enjoy your weekend. Off to see the Hunger Games: Catching Fire, because I am a High School girl.

Peace.

Other Things Happened That Weekend Too...

Country Roads, Take Me Home.
In Tim's car.
Love fall in the Bend, you don't appreciate it until you're without it.

Tim and his future self. Because at Notre Dame they hire retired men to drive you in golf carts anywhere on campus... only at Notre Dame.
A simply demonstration.

 ...

Open Rehearsal: The Tim Kenney experience.
Look at that native South Bendian... You didn't fool anyone hun, we all know you never lived in South Bend, you're a Granger boy through and through.

So here's about the before the engagement extravaganza. That's a whole big story, two part ordeal, hold on to your seats. But hurry up and wait for that post. Now lets skip to the next day:

We never drank the Champagne Tim had for us the night before (you will find out more soon) so why not pregame with it? Classy college engagement right? We know.

And friends

And football.

And fall.

It was a blessed weekend. So good to be home in the fall. With Tim. and my fam. seriously so good.

And you might have seen this insta up a long long time ago (i can still remember) but Tim's the best of the best and took me to this classy establishment on the way out of town. HOTDOGZ4LYFE. helovesme.

Fam Squad

My fam squad came to visit me for my birthday a few weeks ago. The Magee's don't tend to do spontaneous so this short weekend was unreal. We are talking Lizzie and Ethan getting together, completely unexpected but a fan fave. It was so great that they came and I could not stop talking about it.

So my birthday was 22, old but not but like old so it's weird. I don't know how I feel about it yet, give it a few more weeks. And my parents called me on Wednesday and said we are coming this weekend, are you too busy? Ummmm, NO! Hadn't seen 'em since June, all else could wait (including that ten page paper). They picked up my seester in Cincinnati on the way and it made for such a joyous 22 hours.

The Best.

Mads is rull into a movie, can you tell which one?

My momma loves IKEA, IKEA, IKEA! And we don't have one in the sprawling suburb in which I live, so come to DC and it gets thrown on the list imediamente. While there I got sentimental about Roma and our (Tim's) apartment dishware. Miss it, and him. Vino out of coffee mugs? I'd go back.

So the fam visiting was the best, I am so grateful and I love these people so much. Bah, now I want Thanksgiving to be yesterday so I could enjoy the joy.
My fave. Seriously.

(not pictured: the twins, mom has more pics but she's been in Ireland so I'll have to post them at another time. oh chwell)

P.S. fake Tim? I walked into the House for our community meal and was greeted by this thing. My community had made a birthday meal for me complete with all of my favorite things; hot dogs, three musketeers, double chocolate cake, and fake Tim. Then I sat next to him during dinner... freaking me out. what? you too? I thought I was the only one!

Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

This weekend was a big one... I can't wait for more detailed posts (maybe even conning Tim into doing one or two) but for the sake of time here is a preview of what is to come.

Much love amici,

R and T

The long weekend started of like any other. No literally every weekend starts the same for these 9 people. Jersey party night, with the Popes too. (I mean Bene is clearly partying hard with us). I also seem to have a bad habit of standing between the two giants only to further the belief that I was meant to play an Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka.

And Saturday began ZipCar Adventures. Zoops for this blurry picture but the rest of my documentation  was pretty lame so bear with me.

Ultimately it was of the most unhealthy of days. But seriously ladies day turned into planning homes, second homes, apartments in the city, beach homes, lake homes, all sorts of homes we will never have and never be able to afford. So emotionally unhealthy, as if Pintrest went on steroids. But we loved it, duh.

Lo and Behold, we turn the corner to the exit and toward the ice cream *non-fat frozen yogurt* Ines had been craving since we made plans to go to Ikea and looky here. A GIANT HOT DOG IS STARING ME IN THE FACE. Hey-oh 50cents, hey-oh 50 cents.

Hot Dogs fo fifty cents. Clearly we both had two. I wasn't hungry but you can't beat these prices in Washington my friends, so if you make me I guess I'll eat two hot dogs, because HELLO they're hot dogs.

Ines: cute, adorable, mid-laugh, blog-worthy photo
Rylee: stares admiringly at hot dog.

And then Ines told me this was her first hot dog in over two years... Our friendship was seriously brought into question as is obvious by my habit to wear my emotions openly. Always.

The day was topped off by pumpkin chocolate chip cookies followed by a weekend of extreme laziness. Cookies, friends, and MK & A... it doesn't get much better.

It was another enthralling weekend here at My Life, My Sweetness, keep stopping by to get other important updates of the life of a college senior that we all know you can't live without.
