The Government Wont Shut This City Down

And now that the government re-opened, this girl will stop procrastinating and start typing::
I had an adventure-filled Saturday with the ever-stylish S.T.B. ze other day to our favorite little nook of our city.
We started with Union and walked talked our way down to Eastern Market.

Because Capitol Hill and Eastern Market should be a Yes. on everyones Saturday.

I think these pictures do more talking than I would need to.

And October, you can keep on keeping on because your weather is pockets full of sunshine up in here and I don't even mind the lack of leaf change.

Charm City

I had the intention of posting once a day for the whole week to catch up over here at My Life, My Sweetness but then life happened and what can you do? So we try and try again and here goes:

About forever and a half ago we went to Baltimore just for the night. We stayed in the inner harbor (so don't worry mom, my life was never threatened) and meandering after that. The weather was beauteous and such. Like seriously, tank tops in October... STAHP.

I went with a classy bunch of ladies to the Cheesecake Factory and is was... YES.

Baltimore **The Greatest City in America**

It was so good to hang out with Brooke, Meredith, and Greta. We were bummed H&M was closed because we gabbed too long at dinner but Barnes & Noble was so worth it. (I so need to read the new Sarah Dessen book, I just need to.)

All in all, we had a grand event! Loved it, and these people.

And my bus buddy. Hey-oh Max, you're looking awfully freaky.

BYOM

I am so behind at the blogging thing, I apologize to my huge group of followers, I know you have been anxiously awaiting new posts. Truly, how would you survive without these? Well wait no longer and know that this Dark Night of the Soul is nearing its end... Blog Posts: Bring Your Own Mug Night
With the Ladies of Regan Hall we put together a little night of simple recipes... Microwave Recipes. So college, ya know? And so over the Pryz. And I know you are wondering, Rylee where on earth did you find these Microwave snacks, breakfasts, and desserts? Well, the internet of all places!
(kudos to y'all who know where that little snippet is from, so kudos for you Liz (maybe even those kudos snacks that were chocolate drizzled chewy bars... what happened to those?)).
But seriously the Pintrest Inspired night was all found here and here.

Nutella, chocolate, and peanut butter were all involved; every college girls dream? Yes, it's not just stereo-type, it's truth.

One of many finished products. I highly suggest all you college students try these out, you will be surprised how good a meal out of a microwave in a mug can taste.

HoCo es Loco

This post is dedicated to all those that we love who had to miss Homecoming weekend for one reason or another.
We really missed you/ Fr. Marek saying "so great"?
A picture with EKB for you RyGL. we were both on a bus stop in Bummertown, USA without you.

I think these pictures speak for themselves. It is tradition for the seniors to join the alumni tailgate and so we did, with some pretty stellar alumni might I add.
And some pretty great looking friends too.

We waiting in line for a ruhl long time, but Times played Beyonce and all was forgiven.
My date (as always), the air conditioner. I'd dance with him any day over anybody else. Yeah you heard me Tim, sowhat, whocares?!?

Again we missed you friends but we tried to go on without ya, it wasn't the same but we made the most of it and lived to tell the tale, Hey-oh.

This post is so college, I know. Don't judge me. And whatever it's Senior year.

Black, White, and Re(a)d All Over

This is what happens when you put 23 student ministers in a room.

Homecoming Dance is a Purdy big dealio over here at CUA. It's all festive and spirited and dancing. What more could you need? Well I'll tell ya, all the proceeds go to charity. I mean come on, sounds like a grand ole time.

So there's balloon arches which are great unless you are Annie and you have globophobia which is a thing. If Oprah has it, it must exist.

And after setting up and eating a brief dinner we had approximately 3.25 seconds before we we back to business. It didn't take these four too long to look sootally dapper.

Prom Dates 4 Lyfe

This girl is my other half this year, seriously my life wouldn't be happening without her.

Thanks for the sorority squat guys, you look more than good, you're great!

From the very first day.

Every girls gotta have her bdiet coke.

A year ago this weekend we were wine tasting at a castle in Tuscany. We wouldn't mind going back...
