Orlando 2017

Christmas 2017 was a blast! We drove to Florida to be with my family this year and before making our way to Tampa, we all met in Orlando to stay in a resort for a few days and go to Disney. Here's some pictures to recap our Orlando leg, we love when we get to be with family and being in the pool too makes it even better!
Edith had her first swim and loved it, was very zen through the whole thing. So different from G.
Caption: Parents desperately try to prove that everyone is having a good time on vacation by overcompensating with large smiles.
Gemma did not understand, but seriously loved putt-putt.
Stay tuned for Disney pictures!

Edith Margaret: Three Months

Ou three month old little Edie is such a cutie and such a pukester. Like seriously with the puking all the time on all the things. Everyone goes through many outfit changes in a day.
But through it all she is just the happiest. She has been sleeping through the night since 6 weeks and doesn't really get unnecessarily fussy. She cries only when she needs something and is smiley at any other point, even when she's puking.
She's got the greatest buggy little eyes that will follow you around the room!
I'm sorry E but being a second child means that even your own photo shoot is not your own.
She's discovered her hands and all things go right to the mouth. We love her so stinking much.

Edith's Baptism

Welcome to the Church sweet girl. Your faith is the greatest gift we will ever give you and we pray every day that we share it well.
Edith Margaret, you are named for some pretty fierce women, we pray that you, like them, will be strong. Strong in your faith, strong in your convictions, strong in your generosity, strong in your courage to be vulnerable and admit weakness, strong for all who need to lean on you, and mostly, that there is strength in your giving and receiving love.
We love you Sweet E, happy baptism!
It was a lovely day to celebrate Edith's baptism on November 12, 2017. Fr. Jordan from St. Peter's presided and family from both sides and all over made it to DC for the occasion. Gemma fell asleep right after Mass and before the baptism so she has no memory of the day and was very disoriented for all pictures. Edith was perfectly behaved and would go to anyone who wanted to hold her. I owe everything to Shan for the party after at our house, the cake, the cookies, the decor. Thanks for everything you do for me and my girls ;)
