Today is the day we pack our Uhaul. Tomorrow is the day we move.
As the house sits in chaos now and I run through to do lists and panic about the things left unpacked, I am trying to remind myself to be emotional. I am a person who puts that aside for the sake of getting things done but I don't want to live in DC for 2 weeks before accepting that we no longer live in Boston. I want to have a good good-bye. Does that exist?
To help facilitate I snapped a handful of pictures of our first home as it was. Or as it ended up after two years of living in it. In no way is this a model of decor, just a sentimental post to my family's first home.
Goodnight comb
And goodnight brush
Goodnight nobody
Goodnight mush
And goodnight to the old lady whispering “hush”
Goodnight stars
Goodnight air
Good night noises everywhere
Good bye Duncklee
